Womens Programme

A programme for women to help understand and manage anger

About the Programme:

Group Programme: This programme consists of eight-two-hour sessions, looking at behaviours, beliefs and responses to conflict. It aims to help the participants recognize their emotions and provides options for dealing with them. The sessions enable the participants to discover and identify patterns of behaviour that have a negative impact on themselves and those around them, during times of internal and external conflict. The programme runs during the school term time on a Monday morning 9:30 -11:30 at the Kapiti Women’s Centre.

Individual Programme:  We also run an individual programme for women to learn the skills to reduce violence in their life. Individual sessions are run at our office in Sheffield Street.

Programme Sessions Include:

Come and learn how to manage anger appropriately for positive change in your life

The remarkable thing is, we have a choice everyday, regarding the attitude that we will embrace for that day.
We cannot change our past.
We cannot change the inevitable.
The only thing that we can do, is play the one string we have, and that is our

I am convinced that life is 10% what is happening to me and 90%, how I react to it.
